For years, Margie Odom, M.Ed., LMFT, struggled keeping weight off that she so desperately wanted to and couldn’t find a diet that helped her succeed. She tried it all, so when nothing worked, she knew she had to dig deeper if she wanted a lasting change in her life. It was then that she realized to keep the physical weight off, she needed to come to grips with the weight that she carried within. As a therapist, coach, author and speaker, Margie helps others stop their emotional eating cycle by using her proven strategies that helped her find a solution to end her cycle of yo-yo dieting for good.

Thanks to her book, "The Weight Within: Healing Emotional Eating from the Inside Out," and her coaching programs she has been able to help clients free themselves from the weight within and start living their best lives. Margie earned her undergraduate degree in psychology from Emory University, completed her master’s degree in counseling at the University of Georgia, and completed her coursework in Marriage and Family Therapy at Western Kentucky University. Known for her honesty, humor, and passion for learning, Margie’s emotional eating clients benefit from her personal success and deep desire to share her creative programs with others. Her mission is to help as many people as possible break free from emotional eating and live the life they were meant to live. Learn more by visiting www.WeightWithin.com.
